Abstract
En mayo de 2026, el IPEC se situó en 253, lo que representa una reducción de 114 puntos frente a abril de 2026 (367) y un aumento de 29 puntos en comparación con el registro de mayo de 2025 (224). Por otra parte, las noticias en medios de comunicación capturadas por el IPEC se concentraron en temas de política económica, social y geopolítica (30,4%), seguidos por otros (25,0%), actividad económica (17,9%), variables financieras (16,1%) y seguridad (10,7%).
Abstract
In May 2026, the IPEC stood at 253 points, representing a drop of 114 points compared to April 2026 (367) and an increase of 29 points compared to May 2025 (224). Meanwhile, the news captured by the IPEC in the media focused mainly on economic, social, and geopolitical policy issues (30.4%), followed by others (25.0%), economic activity (17.9%), financial variables (16.1%), and security (10.7%).
